My
employee’s daughter. The tomboy. The kid who once did odd jobs around the
brewery. That’s all she was… until three years passed and she walked into my
office for an interview.
Frankee
Dawson is no longer that girl I once called Kiddo. She’s grown into a
beautiful, sexy, desirable woman. Very desirable. And that’s a problem. She’s
my employee’s daughter. Lovibond family. And too young for me. Too innocent.
I want to
feel her respond to my kiss.
I want her
body to tremble as she anticipates my touch.
I want to
learn all the places that bring her pleasure.
But mostly
I want her to know that she’s never truly been loved by a man until me.
Frankee is
my intern and under me for the summer. Literally. It’s a difficult secret to
maintain when you can’t keep your hands off each other.
This was
supposed to be a hot summer fling. Sex and fun without commitment—that’s what
we called it. But we were wrong. This is more. I’ve never felt this way about a
woman. Never cared more about someone else’s happiness more than my own.
I love her
and I’m happy. So damn happy… until a terrible mistake from my past springs
forward and threatens to rip us apart.
There are a
million reasons for her to leave me. And trust me, she should. But all I really
need is one good reason for her to stay.

I've waited what feels like a lifetime to read PORTER. You can see my reviews of the first two books Tap and Stout.
We got a few hints towards Porter and Frankee's story in Stout's book. I
really enjoyed the first two books and I'm still captivated by the
unique setting of these books. I have never seen another book
surrounding a beer brewing company! You can tell that Georgia has done
her research by the way she describes what goes on the brewery.
"Frankee is already Lovibond family. And the perfect candidate for this summer job. This is a no-brainer."
Frankee's father has worked for Lovibond since it opened. She's been surrounded by the Lovibond men during those crucial teen years and has had a crush on Porter for years. She doesn't have any intentions of getting involved with him, she's just looking for a short work assignment before moving to Austin when her best friends graduate. She decides that the summer graphic design internship with Lovibond is the perfect opportunity and will look great on her resume. Now that she's all grownup, Porter is seeing her in a whole new light!
"Hot summer fling? No-strings attached fun? Sex without commitment? Am I cutout for such things? I don't know. Do I want to find out? Absolutely."
With Frankee being one of his favorite employees daughters falling for her is not an option. But when circumstances bring them closer together than just coworkers, the lines start to get blurred. Keeping their relationship a secret gets harder and harder to do. Porter has a past and that past could make it hard for her family to believe he's the right fit for her. But she's leaving in just a short amount of time so why stir things up unnecessarily? Will Porter and Frankee decide this is more than just a passing moment of attraction? Or will they go their separate ways. You'll have to read to find out.
"... incredible how one small moment can change the entire course of your life."
Overall I enjoyed this story. I mean, I read it in just 3 days! The ending felt like the perfect closure for this trilogy. I'm sad to say goodbye to the characters. There were a few times where the writing didn't flow as well as the previous two books and I found myself pausing to reread a couple lines and figure out exactly what was happening. Otherwise this story was sweet, intense and addictive. I hope to read more of Georgia's work in future.

Frankee and
I stayed up until three in the morning. I couldn’t keep my hands off of her.
Not when she was wearing that sexy-as-fuck lingerie.
I’ve never
seen anyone wear anything like that. Sure, I’ve watched porn and seen it on
those women, but never on a real-life woman. And never one in my bed.
Frankee is
like my very own porno princess.
I gave her six orgasms last night—one an hour.
I’ve never done that before. Not that I don’t have the ability. I’ve just never
been inclined to.
“Frankee.”
She doesn't
stir. Not even a little. I shake her shoulder this time. “Frankee. Wake up,
baby. I have to go.”
She rolls
to her back and slowly opens her eyes. “Someone fucked me into next week.
You'll have to check back with me when it comes around to see if I can wake
up.”
“You don't
have to get up, but I do have to go.”
“No. Don't
go. Staaaay.” She has no idea how badly I want to.
At some
point during the night, Frankee washed off her makeup, and I’m seeing her for
the first time without cosmetics. It’s confirmed. She’s a natural beauty and
doesn’t need that garbage on her face.
“I wish I
could stay in this bed with you all day, but I promised Stout I'd help him move
his stuff to his new house today. I was supposed to be there already, but I
couldn’t bear to leave when you looked so beautiful in my bed.”
I already
know he’s going to give me shit for being late.
“Wait a
minute… before you go.”
Frankee
dashes to the bathroom, still wearing her porno princess attire from last
night. That is one convenient getup. I hope she has more of those.
She returns
from the bathroom with her hair twisted into a topknot. I don’t know what it is
that makes that so damn sexy.
She wraps
her arms around my shoulders and lowers herself to straddle me on the bed.
“Kiss me before you go.”
Her mouth
is minty. And hungry, based on the way she devours my mouth and neck. “Is this
your plan for tempting me to stay?”
Her hands
are working to undo the button and zipper on my jeans. “No. This is.”
