By: Christina Lauren
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: June 6th, 2017
Everyone knows that all’s fair in love and war. But these two will learn that sabotage is a dish best served naked.
The first standalone romance by New York Times and #1 international bestselling author Christina Lauren (Beautiful Bastard) is a sexy, compulsively readable romantic comedy that dives headlong into the thrill and doubt of modern love.
Despite the odds against them from an embarrassing meet-awkward at a mutual friend’s Halloween party, Carter and Evie immediately hit it off. Even the realization that they’re both high-powered agents at competing firms in Hollywood isn’t enough to squash the fire.
But when their two agencies merge—causing the pair to vie for the same position—all bets are off. What could have been a beautiful, blossoming romance turns into an all-out war of sabotage. Carter and Evie are both thirtysomething professionals—so why can’t they act like it?
Can Carter stop trying to please everyone and see how their mutual boss is really playing the game? Can Evie put aside her competitive nature long enough to figure out what she really wants in life? Can their actor clients just be something close to human? Whether these two Hollywood love/hatebirds get the storybook Hollywood ending, or just a dramedy of epic proportions, you get to enjoy Christina Lauren’s heartfelt, hilarious story of romance in the modern world.

Anything by this dynamic duo, I want it. They are always an insta buy for me and I don't ever see that changing. There words always seem to leave me reeling in a pit of feels but I wouldn't have it any other way. Dating You Hating You was no different.
I found myself laughing until I thought I was going to pee, wiping my tears from laughter, and getting strange looks from reading while in a public places. But I wouldn't change a thing. Everything about this book is so fun and energetic, you can't help but to want to smile while reading.
And as their first standalone book, I can say it was a damn good one. These two always knock my socks off with their ability to tell a story.
Carter and Evie meet at a Halloween party. They weren't told it was a couples party and they are the only singles their. Coincidence...I think not. But when they come dressed up both from Harry Potter, it's like instant nerd love. These two find themselves talking all night and exchanging numbers in the hope of a date.
These two find themselves feeling like they are in high school waiting for the other to text or call. They feel the butterflies in their stomachs. Something they never planned on happening in their lives. Since they are basically married to their jobs.
But everything quickly changes when they find out that their business are merging together and they are each other's competition. Their tune has completely changed...and it's all out war. Carter and Evie try to sabotage each other in the best of ways. In the ways that have you rolling on the ground, holding your stomach and laughing. The pranks that these two pull are at an all time high.
Will Carter and Evie be able to look past their work lives and realize that this is a real chance at love or will they let their work consume their feelings for each other? You will just have to read this gorgeous book to find out.
