Thirteen Weddings and One Dress Later by A. M. Johnson
Mari is going to a wedding. Never the bride, always an attendee. All her friends from high school are happily married and she's still single. But it seems that this preparation for this wedding is going down in epic fails. First her dress that she wears to every single wedding rips and then her hair is all messed up. Epic disasters.
Nothing is going as planned. But nothing is going as planned for Alfie either. It's his brothers wedding. Great. Alfie and his brother don't really get along, and with good reason.
But Alfie and Mari are in for a treat. These two find themselves lonely at the bar avoiding the happiness of the wedding together. Such a crappy day for the both of them. But quickly it may turn out to be one hell of an awesome day for them. They don't know anything about each other but who cares when you are at a wedding.
This short is so much fun and I devoured from page one. Anything by A M Johnson I am a sucker for and this short was no different.
I look forward to reading more of the shorts inside this anthology.
